Inazuma Eleven SD is a free mobile sports game that allows you to assemble your own football dream team from the beloved characters of the Inazuma Eleven franchise. This title, developed by Level-5, is the 16th installment in the popular soccer-themed game series and encompasses all narratives from the Inazuma Eleven universe. The game employs a unique ohajiki-style gameplay where you flick 3D characters on the screen to pass and shoot the ball, reminiscent of the slingshot techniques used in the Japanese marble game or even the popular Angry Birds game.
Strive for Soccer Supremacy
The Inazuma Eleven media franchise, which originated in 2008, focuses on the journey of the Raimon Jr. High School football team as they strive for success. Over time, the franchise has successfully expanded to various gaming platforms and has been adapted into manga and anime series. The franchise features three primary plotlines: Inazuma Eleven, the story of goalkeeper Mamoru Endou; Inazuma Eleven GO, set a decade after the original and centered around midfielder Tenma Matsukaze; and Inazuma Eleven: Ares or Inazuma Eleven: Heroes’ Great Road, an alternate sequel featuring forward Asuto Inamori.
While these stories had never been integrated into a single game before, Inazuma Eleven SD rectifies this by implementing a gacha system that allows players to combine characters from across the different narratives. The game's battle system is a 5-vs-5 soccer match, with an additional reserve player for each team and a coach and manager to boost stats.
Employ Strategy and Skill
Inazuma Eleven SD requires you to flick your chosen player to pass or shoot the ball, drawing comparisons to air hockey and slingshots. At its core, the game is a turn-based strategy where you decide what to do every time you receive the ball. Each character, represented in a cute mini-figurine avatar, has unique moves and battle lines during matches.
You can even construct a diorama using your preferred players. With an original story mode and an online PvP mode, Inazuma Eleven SD offers plenty of gameplay options to keep you engaged.
